The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is set to issue new guidance Thursday telling people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 that they can safely stop wearing masks indoors in most places, a report said Thursday.
The guidance will still encourage wearing masks in crowded indoor settings like buses, planes, hospitals, prisons and homeless shelters — but is expected to ease restrictions for reopening workplaces and schools, a source told the Associated Press

Wearing a mask is like using a chain link fence to keep out mosquitos. The virus is far smaller than the mask material openings.

If vaccines work with acquired/natural immunity, why is any mask necessary?

How can anyone tell simply by looking at them who's vaccinated and who isn't?
How about this: The CDC comes out and says masks are WORTHLESS and to stop wearing them?!

And without experimental vaccine passports, this effectively means that everyone can stop wearing masks. There will be no means to verify that the person has her does not have an experimental vaccine. They have to understand the confusion they are creating, so I am presuming this is just a factor way to end mask wearing?

It’s time to take off the masks.
Those that are vaccinated, no problem.
Those that refuse to vaccinate......welcome to the bug, then you’ll be immune.....if you survive.
In any case, the sooner we all vaccinate or get sick, the sooner we achieve herd immunity and stop these variants from emerging.
As much as I want to think this is a ‘bug’ that achieves ‘herd immunity’... I do not believe that is the path we are on... The ‘common cold’ has been weaponized and there will be no going back... Masks and vaccines are the new norm.
The reason they’ve been forcing them to wear masks indoors is because there is no way to know if a person has been vaccinated without asking them - which violates HIPAA.
Which means those of us who have not been vaccinated and understand that this is all theater can finally go maskless without worrying about repercussions.
And there are two kinds of people in the world: Maskless and faceless.
