Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) announced Wednesday he will run for U.S. Senate in North Carolina to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC).
Budd, a gun store owner from Davie County, released a video of the announcement that detailed his positions on issues and prominently featured him campaigning alongside former President Donald Trump.

He was my congressman pretty conservative he better be able to raise some $$$.

He’s my congressman. Heritage ranks him at %100. ACU ranks him at %97.21.
On the opposite side, National Environmental Scorecard ranks him at %4.
That and the fact that he’s a gun store owner sounds promising.
Mark Robinson who I really like, said he won’t run. I don’t think Lara Trump has decided yet. Not sure if Mark Meadows would consider it.
He talks MAGA but I suppose we'll find out.

He’s a Real American !!! I was just thinking the other day about calling Ted and asking Him to run for the Senate.
Ted has helped Me with several things over the last few years. I called His Local Office to leave a message early one morning at 06:45 and on the 4th ring I was caught off guard when I heard “Good Morning, Ted Budd’s Office this is Ted speaking how may I help You ?” After catching My breath I told Him My name and what I was calling about. He replied that He was going to calling Me later that day and He knew what I was calling about and gave Me the information that I was looking for.
How many times have any of Your Reps answered the phone themselves ?

Excellent. People are starved for candidates who have genuine beliefs and values and live out what they say.
W Bush eventually was shown to be a fraud. He ran on conservatism, but has been proven many times over to be a fraud. He definitely was NOT the person he campaigned as.
