The White House defended its decision to lift restrictions on taxpayer-funded research using fetal tissue from abortions on Tuesday.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops condemned the practice in a statement, saying it is “unethical to promote and subsidize research that can lead to legitimizing the violence of abortion.”
Press secretary Jen Psaki said the Biden administration “respectfully disagrees” with the statement from the bishops during the daily press briefing at the White House.
“We believe that it’s important to invest in science and look for opportunities to cure diseases. And I think that’s what this is hopeful to do,” she said.
The statement from the bishops noted it is possible to do research without using harvested tissue from aborted babies. “It is also deeply offensive to millions of Americans for our tax dollars to be used for research that collaborates with an industry built on the taking of innocent lives,” the statement read.

That “Catholic” Biden tosses aside any morality or decency if it gets in the way of his power, like the other Dems.
For the chameleon Catholics to vote for Biden was a sin, IMHO.
People who would defend saving baby’s bodies from aborted children are on a level with the Nazi Ghouls we criticized after he 2nd World War. They are absolute slobs with no consciences. They are democrats, since this is a plank in the democratic platform. Remember that when you vote!

Abortion is the sacrament of the Demoncrat party.
The term “abortion” has become a safe, clinical euphemism that pro-aborts can easily deflect with scripted and oily weasel-words. If we are going to speak out against something we need to lay it bare and call it what it is: in this case the brutal murder of an innocent baby in her mother’s womb— the very place that she should be safe and loved. Let them try to weasel-word a response to that.

But seriously, I understand. They have to posture on this issue in order to maintain what little moral credibility they have left.
I would imagine a lot of people on here don’t mind the use of fetal tissue for research. The vaxxers praise the COVID shots.
