In 1995 “dead beat dads” were in the news: https://www.deseret.com/1995/8/29/19190181/clinton-defends-deadbeat-law The FBI dealt with this national security threat head on, heroically and decisively, all the way until 9-11.

I remember that now. There were “wanted” posters up with the various amounts owned by each man for alimony. Meanwhile, terrorists were attending flight training in this country and practicing dry runs. Thanks, FBI!

Yes,

Therein is the problem.

All of these government agencies and departments get used in the political games/maneuvers.

People have this “belief,” some sort of “faith,” that somehow organizations that get funded by the the government and are concerned about their own growth and agenda (how do we get a bigger budget, scope and people), where the senior leaders are all hand picked and political hacks (often with little actual subject matter expertise), are somehow objective, pragmatic, science based - that they are ethical and “do the right thing” when it comes down to it.

Of course that isn’t the case.

The VA under Clinton took millions and funneled them for AIDS research. That didn’t help amputees much, nor those getting older less effective and with high side effect meds, waiting in line for cancer treatments or diagnostics, but it did allow him to claim that he did something for the gay community. Do you really think Fauci is basing everything on “science?” Hahahaha

BTW- how many people did the DOJ save and protect when they gave them criminal felony records years past for pot? Why was pot even made illegal? Nixon wanted to take a swipe at his political opposition and hippies, beatniks, blacks and Latino’s used this. It was a way to “criminalize” and “delegitimize” his political opposition, no differently than what happened during and after 6 January but the other way around with the “insurrection.”

The problem is that people don’t see it. They are compliant. They have been taught to equate blind adherence to being a good citizen, patriotic, and ethical. They do not equate the massive expanse of government both in size and scope to their loss of liberty and privacy, massive corruption (corporate/government collusion), and these idiotic and dork games played by government and the politicians leading it. People forget that government is a political beast, and guess what that means for the things they administer/manage/control???
