Make him windsurf. The article does make an excellent point that fossil fuels have saved lives and lifted people out of poverty. Fossil fuels are cleaner than most previous sources of work and power. 1 horse power? How much hay does 1 horse eat and how much crap does 1 horse deposit. How many dead horses would pile up? You can’t go 60 MPH no matter how many horses you have.
