When Machiavelli wrote, “in order to know Moses’ virtue it was necessary that the people of Israel be slaves in Egypt …,” he was pointing to the truth that knowing what one is up against is a powerful incentive for dealing with it intelligently. Genesis tells us that only in Moses’ time did the Egyptians make clear how harsh was the alternative to the Exodus by deciding to kill their longtime slaves’ baby boys.
Today, the oligarchy that controls American society’s commanding heights leaves those who are neither its members nor its clients little choice but to marshal their forces for their own exodus. The federal government, the governments of states and localities run by the Democratic Party, along with the major corporations, the educational establishment, and the news media set strict but movable boundaries about what they may or may not say—on pain of being cast out, isolated from society’s mainstream. Using an ever-shifting variety of urgent excuses, which range from the coronavirus, to the threat of domestic terrorism, to catastrophic climate change, to the evils of racism, they issue edicts that they enforce through anti-democratic means—from social pressure and threats, to corporate censorship of digital platforms, to bureaucratic fiat. Nobody voted for this.
What forces can and can’t this oligarchy bring to bear? We have a hint from Time magazine’s Feb. 4, 2021, valedictory of “a vast, cross-partisan campaign” by leaders of business, labor, and the media, in cooperation with the Democratic Party, that “got states to change voting systems and laws” for the 2020 presidential election in contravention of black-letter constitutional law. Rulings by judges in Michigan and Virginia that changes to those states’ absentee ballot laws were blatantly illegal matters not one whit.

Exodus?
No of course not. War is the only answer to the question of American salvation.
There is no law
War, yes. But exodus first.
There can, and must, be an internal exodus from the corrupt system which has been created.
If you continue to pay taxes to this illegal government and work for a corporation gleefully forwarding the Democrat’s anti-America agenda, then you need to stop. It would make sense to do so before you go to war.
To have an “Exodus’ one must have a “Promised Land” to seek. Where is it???
Exodus, okay, but where?
“ Exodus, okay, but where?”
As I said, an internal exodus. You must quit your support of what is wrong. This might mean leaving your job, or even where you live. I would think this would be tried first by anyone of any intelligence before thought of warfare or quitting the country.
If you are looking for a refuge outside of the USA, I think you can forget it. The Israelites may have had a land flowing with milk and honey to flee to. We do not.
I feel cheated. I rushed to open this post hoping that I might get information on somewhere to flee to.
Alas, there is still nowhere else to go as America fails.
Secession. Now.
Secession. Break off start over.
Separate. The FedGov is a construct of the state(s) and not vice versa.
The American Exodus will be Atlas Shrugged.
The powerful gain their profits and power from abusing the fruits of the labor of those willing to participate in the globalist agenda. Those that believe the propaganda that they have not achieved positive outcomes through their hard work and personal efforts.
Without the willing actions of the “governed” they become powerless. Americans will soon become weaned from the system (as much as possible) or go down with the ship. Victory gardens, Debt free, living within one’s means, cooking at home, minimal participation in “the game” by moving to modest living and self sufficient living.
Those that shrug will be like the customer paying cash in the Visa commercial. The system will crash but you won’t need it.
Hold fast to faith in God, for nothing is coming to pass that has not been foretold. Americas salvation in this time will come from another Great Awakening of revival and repentance.

My parents didn't intend to leave forever. They thought it was just until things returned to normal - a few years maybe. When they saw attempts at overturning the communist regime crushed, they realized that it wasn't going to be so easy. It took over 40 years. In the meantime, my parents raised their children and then welcomed grandchildren who were natives of a new land - beloved for sure, but also foreign to them on some level.
It has been over 70 years now since my parents left. Mother is almost 96. She's not moving across the ocean. Our sons are adults who will make their own decisions, but moving back to the homeland isn't likely for them either. As to me and my husband, we love my family over there, but I expect we will continue the fight on this side of the ocean, resisting in ways larger and small and doing our best to keep the family unified.
Unless things become unbearable, we will limit our exit to the internal variety. We will participate in those things that reflect our values and avoid those that don't. We speak out, but in ways that encourage others to think rather than react in anger. I take my example from my grandparents, who endured through the worst of occupation and communism but kept the family on course.
If at first you don’t secede, try try again.
I missed where your family exited from...please share
They left what is now the Czech Republic. It was then Czechoslovakia. They lived under occupation during WWII and then the communist coup in 1948. Everyone wasn’t welcome to join the Communist Party and be part of the in-group. Mom’s family were middle class business owners, so they were considered enemies of the state. Dad’s family were mostly farmers, so they were allowed to join. Dad didn’t want to join because he figured he would eventually be asked to do something that was against his principles in return for the privilege. He was accused of sabotage at his workplace shortly after, and they escaped rather than have him go to prison. The men who went to prison for the trumped-up offense didn’t all get out alive, so I think it was for the best. It came at a difficult price. Dad really never got over it.

complacent, apathetic, lazy actions of the governed
Thanks...a story needing telling.
When I was in grade school I read an autobiographical account (”as told to”) by a Slovak nun about her experiences in Czechoslovakia in the early years of Communist rule and how she escaped from the country: “The Deliverance of Sister Cecilia.” Very interesting on many counts, including about how the Communists operated one small step at a time as they imposed their control.
There are several countries which seem at first glance to be suitable places to flee to—Australia, New Zealand, Canada. They all share the English tradition that our Founding Fathers drew on, and English is the main language in each country. But they don’t have our Bill of Rights and are probably further down the slope than the US is on losing freedom (Canada certainly is). Plus Australia and New Zealand are difficult to immigrate to if you are over a certain age—you have to have a lot of money or they won’t accept you.
The problem is those countries have the same cultural rot that we do.
