Along with private technology and travel companies, the Biden administration is working to develop credentials – referred to as passports, health certificates or travel passes – showing proof of vaccination as individuals and businesses emerge from lockdown, the Washington Post reported Sunday.
Airline and business groups had been lobbying the White House to take the lead in setting standards for health passes. They believe that would avoid a hodgepodge of regional credentials that could cause confusion among travelers and prevent any single health certificate from being widely accepted.
According to the Washington Post, the administration's efforts are housed in offices of Health and Human Services, with the White House this month taking a "bigger role coordinating government agencies involved in the work, led by coronavirus coordinator Jeff Zients."
“Our role is to help ensure that any solutions in this area should be simple, free, open source, accessible to people both digitally and on paper, and designed from the start to protect people’s privacy,” Zients said at a March 12 briefing.
The passports offer a glimpse of a future after months of COVID-19 restrictions. Officials say getting vaccinated and having proper documentation will smooth the way to travel, entertainment and other social gatherings in a post-pandemic world.

What about HIPPA healthcare privacy laws? What about healthcare confidentiality in general terms? What if your medical condition is such that you shouldn’t get this vaccine? What if you choose not to get it?
Will this apply to every place you go, not just on airplanes
But also including ballparks, concerts, theaters, shopping?
Bet they’ll make you wear it in your MASK!
Let me get this straight..you are required to have a covid passport in order to go anywhere, restaurant, airport, etc..but requiring an ID to VOTE is racist??
That frustrates me too.
We are doing all this for a virus which the vast majority survive even of they do get it.
This virus is not the return of smallpox or the bubonic plague from medieval Europe, yet we have treated it as if it is.
If only there was some way to have all these “immigrants” quarantined, given all their shots, including covid, documented, given one of these passports before being allowed to step foot on American soil.
What if you've recovered from the China virus and the antibodies test shows that you have antibodies?

It’s the “mark of the beast” in my opinion. You know if the government starts these passports that more and more businesses will require them, like the masks, in order to enter and shop. This will be a windfall for all those online stores, huh?

What is going on now is herd immunity which is great thing.
