Images taken during President Joe Biden's first press conference on Thursday showed him using cheat sheets - which did not prevent him from misstating key facts and losing his train of thought at times.
The 78-year-old Democrat is seen holding one sheet that showed the headshots of journalists at the press conference that he planned to call on.
Another cheat card listed stats about infrastructure, but Biden was still forced to correct himself after mistakenly saying the US ranked 85th in the world in infrastructure.

I doubt he’ll make it through these 4 years.
He was stumbling and slow, able to stay focused only because of an extreme structure that didn’t allow even the slightest deviation from a scripted speech.
I do not even know why they had the press there?

His train of thought has completely derailed now.
Before someone defends this as Biden simply “having some note cards,” no. Just no. This shows that he had the questions ahead of time, and there was a planned order or “script” he was to use. It was not a press conference, it was a show, and it wasn’t a very good one.
He’s going off the rails on a crazy train.

Biden failed his first Speech 101. He was distracted by his own notes and his own speech. He was not confident or competent.

There was at least one answer...to a question on China, I think...that he was quite obviously reading from a script.
I bring up John Gill because some Freepers compare Biden to Captain Pike but Pike had his full mental capabilities. John Gill was drugged up and incoherent.
Absolutely correct. It was all scripted and he was still very bad. There won’t be another.
I know this has probably already been discussed, but are we sure that was pictures of reporters in the room and not of little girls?
Confession of a 78 year old:
This morning, just now actually, the name of a wild flower growing in my yard came to me. It had eluded me for about a week now. It came to me in two parts separated by two or three days.
At first I remembered tooth wort, then just now cut leaved. The very common flower known to me for decades is the cut leaved toothwort.
The Biden moment has passed.
Biden has managed to replace Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Warren Harding, U. S. Grant, and George W. Bush at the bottom.
I think on the gun control softball, he read the wrong answer. Also, the ending looked rather ... Sudden. I don’t think that went according to the script.
Unlike most people, jao xiden was never really there to being with.

And if he wasn’t wearing corrective lenses, why not?
Unless he’s suffering from an issue that corrective lenses won’t fix.
