Some simple, obvious facts are too politically incorrect for academics to state publicly. Georgetown University just fired law professor Sandra Sellers and forced out professor David Batson. Sellers' offense? "I end up having this angst every semester that a lot of my lower ones are blacks," Sellers' said in discussion with another professor at the end of a Zoom call.
Batson's offense? He didn't condemn the statement, but instead sympathized with Sellers’ concerns. “What drives me crazy is… my own unconscious biases playing out in the scheme of things” might be responsible for their poor scores, he said. The logic is that blacks do poorly in college because of professors' biases.
Georgetown Law Dean Bill Treanor said he was "appalled" by these statements, but all academics know that this is true.
I held teaching or research positions at many universities – the Wharton Business School, University of Chicago, UCLA, Yale, Stanford, and Rice -- and I have heard these concerns raised many times. I have listened to even the most liberal professors make the same statements as Batson and Sellers.
But the left has only itself to blame for the harm that affirmative action in academia does to black students. ...

Its not unexpected. It sits at the center of the empire, and has always been a university focused on government, economics, foreign service, law, sending its grads to Fed.gov or a myriad of businesses at Fed.gov’s tit.
Now its been completely absorbed.
Not talking about inot only doesn’t help anyone, but permanently harms everyone in untold, incalculable levels of permutations. But math is racist, anways
I saw the same thing when I was in college in the early 80's. One term later they failed out or dropped out. It is not possible to make up of low IQ's, 12 years of poor education and illiterate families without fathers over one summer. Some people, actually most people, do not belong in college. That has nothing to do with race. Either you have the intellectual abilities and the education required to succeed in college or you don't. There are plenty of other pursuits in life that bring success and happiness.
That is setting the bar pretty low. Going to law school and passing the bar is not a great intellectual achievement.
The only woke solution to this scandal is to have teachers lower standards for minority students. I expect to see George Washington University Law School graduates get a boost from this dust up.

Some are truly great individuals trying to overcome a tough upbringing but more than a few are unmotivated and posses an entitled attitude with a major chip on their shoulder. The absolute worst were the slacker children of wealthy and successful black parents . Only the lazy, corrupt and spoiled Saudi brats looking to cheat and skate their way to a degree were worse and maybe not even then

Many “smart” professors have stupid ideas.
I suspect Kamala is pretty smart and she probably is less fond of stupid leftist ideas than Biden currently is.

I will go further in saying not only is she an affirmative action participation trophy lawyer but she is almost certainly the stupidest person to ever hold high office in the history of this nation. She is so bad I suspect there is great concern among the commie handlers that choosing her was a huge mistake. She can’t even fake it and they know it.
That's because the number of people with average intelligence that take the bar. This country is filled with a bunch of dimwitted lawyers that couldn't think their way out of a paper bag.

Pass rate is a good way to judge how hard the exam is. I know the pass rate for Professional Engineers varies significantly from year to year and between the different types of engineering.
The few who do well enough to get admitted to college often find that despite good grades and getting a diploma they are not college ready and must take remedial classes that don't count toward graduation. Many then drop out.
So, the few that make it to Georgetown Law have had to overcome a lot, to their credit. But it's not surprising most end up at the bottom of the class.
