We have had about $8 trillion in reparations in the form of the Great Society programs that destroyed the black family.
Some of my family members died in the civil war fighting for the north.
Where does my family, their decedents, get in line for that free money. If it were not for people like them the blacks would not have been freed at that time.
The difference is the freed slaves got 40 acres and a mule, those who fought to free them got nothing.
Just what the hell do you call decades and tens of trillions of dollars of welfare, food stamps, and mollycoddling? The taxpayer is owed reparations.
Slavery ended in 1865. Segregation ended in 1965.
