And that’s the idea. The political class sews racial division. Promises something later and collects taxpayer money now for their favored NGOs to “study” the problem. The NGOs get rich and the politicians have their perpetual action item to dangle in front of low-info voters who seem to forget from election to election that everything is promised and nothing meaningful, like actual job opportunities, is ever delivered.
IF republican governors had NY backbone at all, they would threaten to secede from the nation if this goes through and explain. To the people that Americans paid by the 1000s with their lives to free slaves, and are still paying through welfare and taxes, and there is no further need for reparations because reparations have already been payed.
Threaten to begin a conglomeration of republican states called the new untied states of Republicans. Democrats not welcomed. . LEt the democrats run their own states into the ground if they want, but leave us the heck out of the destruction of htis great nation.
Within 10 15 years or so the leftists states will be egging the republican states for money

I’m guessing that Biden got a lot less of the Black vote than the “official” (ha, ha) vote tallies indicate. This is simply an attempt to buy back millions of voters who strayed off the plantation.

How about reparations to the families of the 300,000 dead Union soldiers since their deaths apparently mean nothing in modern conversation.

I'd like to close this slippery argument. If I was in charge, I'd use a light meter (to skin) to determine the threshold for payment, then award stocks, not to be paid out until eligible for Social Security. Corporations and recipient receive investment.
Recipient-citizen is firmly "vested" in America--encouraging votes for industry and the economy. Reparation-talk fades away.
