As a former subject of the Commonwealth called Canadastan, I am very well aware of 999 number, with my grandmother hailing from Sunderland. I’ve also been to the UK multiple times so next time..
.. keep your sanctimonious arrogant opinion to yourself and “do your research” as well.
I think the brits are a bit more hospitable to the idea of complete suppression of individual liberties and the introduction of an authoritarian State than we are.
In other words, the brits will not complain loudly as they are led off to the gulag, but Americans would put up a bit of a fuss.

My glasses fog up every time I wear a mask, if I go from the cold outside into a warm building. I try to only shop for food 2 times each week. Thankfully i don’t need to wear a mask at work.

I don’t wear a mask when I go to my local Kroger store. I am very careful to turn my head when approaching or passing someone in the aisle. Not because it makes a difference, but just to be polite.
Added fun side to that. Went to a college football game back in November. Had to wear a mask the whole time. By the end of the game, I wasn’t seeing so clearly. Turns out that my clean glasses developed a film from fogging up so often due to the mask.
