The timeline gives the lie to the assertion that Trump’s speech incited the riot. He was still speaking while the Capitol was penetrated.
Maybe they were waiting for the Dems to open that door. It would be difficult to exclude evidence if the other side raises it first.
So...we need to see evidence on BOTH sides. Let’s make it public. If the facts support that everything was on the up and up, this should motivate the defendants as they would finally “shut Trump up”.

At least in a court of law there is an appeal process, following a rigged trial.
