If POTUS Trump had attempted something similar, there would have been all-cap headlines in the major newspapers around the country about it until he withdrew the directive.
Whereas the Democrat can do whatever is required to ensure party purity, and the MSM will silently applaud.

Biden is in the enviable position of being able to immediately dump any Trump loyalist leftovers with nary a peep from the press and install his own deep state loyalists. After being in the Obama admin for eight years, he has a deep bench of Dem loyalists to draw from.
Also all those Dem loyalists who managed to survive trump are going to rise up now. They no longer need to keep their heads down.
