If POTUS Trump had attempted something similar, there would have been all-cap headlines in the major newspapers around the country about it until he withdrew the directive.
Whereas the Democrat can do whatever is required to ensure party purity, and the MSM will silently applaud.

Trump did a fine job as president, but on dealing with the Swamp, he gets a big, red 'F', which is why the election was stolen from him.

If Trump did this, it would be front-page news followed by relentless investigations and judges stepping in to block the move.
Only Democrats are allowed to purge the swamp of anyone disloyal to the party.
