While Democrats might blame President Donald Trump’s abrogation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) for recent Iranian nuclear violations, they should not: The 2015 Iran deal reversed decades of non-proliferation precedent which demanded a complete accounting and dismantlement of nuclear infrastructure. Exculpating Iran due to hatred of Trump also ignores that Iran is treaty-bound to uphold its Non-Proliferation Treaty Safeguards Agreement commitments.
To understand just how close the Islamic Republic is to nuclear weapons, consider the three general components of a nuclear weapons capability: enrichment, warhead design, and delivery. Iran has worked on all three.

It’s a matter of “fairness” after all...
As soon as they create a “reaction” with their enriched uranium, laboratories around the globe will know in seconds.
Each reaction has a signature. All of those signatures are documented and the source can be identified through the measurement—kind of a triangulation.
So the governments that measure this type of thing will know with absolute certainty the hour that Iran attains their goal of warhead material.
I imagine the Israeli fighter bombers will be in the air within a few hours of that.
Iran will not make a nuclear weapon.
Biden will get the Russians to give Iran a few old tactical nukes.

I believe they already have them. Perhaps refining and or working out the bugs. Won’t be long when Iran announces to the world..we are a nuclear power.
Saudi Arabia (and the Sunni Arab nations in general) don't want it and the Israelis can't allow it. This is the very doomsday scenario the Israeli scientists had in mind when they created their own first atomic weapon ca. 1968-69. They will turn Iran into a parking lot before they will let them build nuclear weapons because that act will inevitably lead to their destruction.
The situation reminds me of the joke about the man who clung to the roof of his house in a flood, ignoring all offers of human help and insisting that G-d himself come save him. The Israelis know that G-d already performed miracles on their behalf on at least four occasions, at their nations founding in 1947 and its three Arab wars (1948, 1967 & 1973). And it would be disrespectful of them to ask G-d to save them a fifth time when they have means at their disposal to eliminate this threat themselves.
