The rioter who paraded around the Capitol building with a Confederate battle flag last week turned himself in to federal authorities in his home state of Delaware on Thursday, authorities said.
The suspect, Kevin Seefried, surrendered to US Marshals in Wilmington with his son Hunter, an FBI spokesperson said.
They are both expected to make an initial court appearance on federal charges that will be filed in Washington, the spokesperson added.
Seefried is suspected of walking around the Capitol building with the large Confederate flag after throngs of President Trump supporters stormed the building as Congress was meeting to certify Joe Biden’s electoral win.
The FBI released images of Seefried carrying the flag through the building earlier this week, asking the public to contact law enforcement if they knew his location and identity.

What was the charge?
Racism; a hate crime, I expect.
Actually, I don’t know for this one.
But I have seen several of them, were initially being charged with illegally entering the capitol building, and now they seem to be charging them with remaining in the restricted building, so they must realize that hundreds were LET IN by the LEOs on the scene.
From Wilmington, Delaware and has a son named “Hunter.”

He walked around the building with a flag. That’s some kind of “rioting”.
My prediction is most of these cases will be settled with a guilty plea to a misdemeanor trespass type charge. There are plenty of videos of police allowing people past the police line and if they have no evidence that they were involved in attacking an officer or doing actual property damage, it may be a hard case to make.

I also question the 50 injured officers. From our vantage point we saw a number of them self-treating after they threw teargas grenades into the wind.

Awfully quick with the arrests and charging, which is fine by me but, FBI has no interest or integrity when it comes to BLM/Antifa.

Yep, no way will they lock up hundreds of people ( most probably have no criminal history) for 20 years for sedition. The ones that walked in and walked around will get a slap on the wrist. The ones breaking glass, breaking in doors will get the rod up the butt.

If it sounds like the authorities and the reporter writing this consider this to be his REAL crime, you may be correct.
But these same a**hole federal marshals couldn’t be bothered to arrest the criminals who stole the presidential election. ‘Eff them!
