Vice President Mike Pence has not ruled out an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment and wants to preserve the option in case President Donald Trump becomes more unstable, a source close to the vice president says.
The source said there is some concern inside Pence's team that there are risks to invoking the 25th Amendment or even to an impeachment process, as Trump could take some sort of rash action putting the nation at risk.
As of Saturday evening, Trump and Pence still have not spoken since the Wednesday incursion at the US Capitol that left five people dead, including a Capitol Police officer, another source told CNN. The President has also not made any public comments denouncing death threats that have been posted on social media targeting Pence.

Pence hasn’t taken Trump’s calls, and was filing lawsuits to oppose Gohmert and others without consulting Trump.
I find it shocking Pence was not on the leaked call with the GA GOP and Pompeo was. What disloyal POS. He needs the Linda Graham airport treatment big time.
If I had to make a bet, I bet on Trump as I believe this time they were messing around with the wrong person.

I don’t know about the military base part, but a Brit on Twitter this evening said that it looks like a coup has occurred. The President of the US has essentially been forbidden to communicate with the American people and is as good as locked up.
CNN, home of Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper, usually has the facts ass backwards.
According to this article 2/3 of the house and the 2/3 of the senate have to approve removing the President if Trump disagrees with using the 25th amendment. Pelosi will definitely not get 2/3 of the house nor 2/3 of the senate. Pence knows if he agrees to the 25th amendment, Trump will remain President until January 20, 2021. So Pence won’t agree because the 25th amendment will fail.
I thought Lin Wood was getting erratic when he called Mike Pence a traitor but it seems Lin Wood knew what Pence was going to do on January 6. Lin Wood gets credit for predicting Pence’s behavior at Congress certifying the electoral college votes.
I have an honest question for you. Why do you believe something bigger is going on? After 3 years of hints that arrests will start tomorrow or next week, or since the election, every single week someone is on the record as saying shocking fraud evidence will be released next week. Mike Lindell is the latest to state that just yesterday. He had a video that said he has seen the evidence but wait until next week for the reveal. Lol. After 3 years of false promises, there is nothing going to change the outcome. I do agree there is plenty of election fraud revealed but it’s never acknowledged. It occurs in a vacuum. At this point no one should be naive.
Can’t Trump fire Pence for insubordination if Pence refuses to take his calls? It was the press at Biden’s “press conference” that ask if he was going to invite Pence to the inauguration.
I feel badly for all the folks who believe something is going to happen. After 3 years of promises I have long stopped believing something is going to happen. In addition, no federal agency such as the FBI or the military will follow his orders anyway at this point in his presidency. My sister has been telling me for years the arrests are imminent. A few weeks ago she let me know there was going to be a big operation that weekend and to have flashlights ready and means of communication since there would be complete blackouts. I have long since stopped asking her source but told her, I would get right on it, but actually did nothing. When my electricity was still working on Sunday afternoon, I called her about an unrelated matter and the topic never came up. However, the alerts about imminent arrests have not stopped. So, I hope you understand the skeptics.
There is no provision in the Constitution for the president to fire the VP. And even if Trump could fire Pence, considering the short leash Trump has in the current political climate, do you really really think Trump would be allowed to stay in office for the last 10 days of his term? He would be impeached and convicted in record time.
Boss has been busy since Wednesday and didn’t have time to touch bases with Pence.
Pence will not see April.
People seem to forget that Pence said he is out.
I know what that means.
