Big Tech To Ban Parler Over Lack Of Content Moderation
OANN ^ | 1/9/2921 | OANN

A social networking service known as Parler is facing immense pressure from big tech companies to strengthen its content moderation policies.

On Friday, Google and Apple both suspended Parler from their app stores, claiming some of the political posts on the platform incite violence and need to be regulated. A spokesperson for Google said the suspension will remain in place until developers submit a detailed content moderation plan and address what he called a “public safety threat.”

Sure you can, but (at least, as of about 20 minutes ago), you can’t even view Pres. Trump’s posts unless you sign up for an account and get approved by “the user”.

I hate Twitter with a passion, but at least people could view pages (until the banning, of course).

You can find the Perler android app at other repositories. For example, version 2.6.10 is available at ApkPure: m.apkpure.com/parler/com.parler.parler

Sorry, I should have put this in my post of a couple minutes ago. I can view other people's Parler pages just fine -- even Lin Wood's page. It appears to only be Pres. Trump's posts that bring up the "Private Account" screen every single time.

They want to control their business and now they want control over your business.
Complete global domination is what they want.

Seems to me that the Underground is forming if it hasn’t already.

The President doesn’t have a Parler presence as of yet but they have reserved some profile names for him. That’s probably what you are getting.

Throwing up hurdles limits usage, and that’s the point. It is de facto censorship.

Yes you can go to their webpage. I think. Here is my experience about ten minutes ago:

Chrome: Fails to open after login is correctly entered.
DuckDuckGo: Comes up and opens fine after login.

It could be just me but I wonder.
