Many years ago, we knew intellectually that some day decadence would afflict American civilisation, as it seems to afflict and destroy all civilisations, but we could not imagine how it could happen or what that would be like.
We also knew intellectually that George Orwell's nightmarish 1984 was somehow a constant threat, but we could not imagine how such madness could ever establish itself in a nation as healthy and wholesome as the USA.
Now we know only too well.
Donald Trump believed that the decadence of Western Civilisation was reversible in America, that the USA had not yet passed the point of no return. So convinced was he of it that he risked everything--quite a bit in his case--to save his beloved America and the American People from destruction.
Was his mistaken? Only time will tell.

Already they have made it so that ANY word you use can get you thrown out of college or fired. You don’t even have to know that the word is banned.
The idea is to make it so that ANYTHING a person says or does, or doesn’t say or doesn’t do, is criminalized without recourse. So that you will fear that the next word you are about to say will get you fired.
It’s the prelude to suppressing normal people.
