Why is the “town” the topic of the headline? This is America. They have to approve the church as long as its consistent with the other churches they have approved. How they worship is none of anyone’s business

A spiritual group that is centered on Norse (Scandanavian) gods (like Thor?). How many people will be in it, one or two families? Like that weird Westboro Baptist congregation that consists of a couple families that are all relatives? This will be just another small nutty group that the leftist MSM will hype as being a typical conservative, religious hate group. That will be given much more than the 15 seconds of fame that they deserve. In fact, this is their 15 seconds and it has now expired.
At least it’s good to know this isn’t a “church” that calls itself Christian. And for that reason, it probably won’t get as much flack as one might think. After all, they ARE doing the devil’s work.

I'm all for it just like I'm for an all Congolese church or a Church of People Who Identify As Transgender Penguins. Do what you want SO LONG AS you let me do what I want.
A corollary to that is of course that I'm free to criticize you and your group and you are free in the other direction too so long as it's not force or fraud.

You are most likely correct. That no one has ever heard of it yet the SPLC somehow has heard of it, suggests they may have been in on or approved of its creation so it can be their next bugaboo.
