Elon Musk Announces He’s Moved from Silicon Valley to Texas, Calls California “Entitled”
Big League Politics ^ | Dec 8, 2020 | Richard Moorhead

Tesla CEO and billionaire Elon Musk announced that he’s moved from California’s Silicon Valley to Texas on Tuesday. Musk made the announcement at a Wall Street Journal virtual event, and he didn’t have the kindest words for his former state.

“They do tend to get a little complacent, a little entitled, and then they don’t win the championship anymore,” he said of the far-left state. “And I think they’re taking them for granted a little bit.”

Musk predicted that Silicon Valley, the longtime home of Big Tech monopolies, would decline. “I think we’ll see some reduction in the influence of Silicon Valley.” Hewlett Packard, a technology company whose roots in Silicon Valley go back to the area’s origins as America’s premier technology location, recently announced it was leaving California- for Texas, as well.

Some California state legislators and elected officials have attacked Musk in recent months, citing Tesla’s hesitance to comply with the state’s most draconian lockdown orders. Musk, who has become the second wealthiest individual in the world following a massive increase in Tesla stock prices during the coronations epidemic, sued California’s Alameda County for restrictions that prevented the manufacture of Tesla vehicles at a company plant.

Musk’s move to Texas follows Tesla’s plans to build a factory in Austin.

Elon Musk is going to be fine wherever he lives, but California, once the undisputed territory of the nation’s billionaire class, could face serious tax liability issues if it loses much of the corporate and technology elite that subsidize the state’s pauper class. California is one of the most economically unequal states in the country, and the state’s population is heavily segregated along lines of class and race.

Having lived in Southern California for the last 20 years, I’ve met some wonderful people—many actually very conservative and very Christian. Or just the former. Many of them left for Texas around 2006. But many of us have also stayed. But there is not question the politicians and many of the clueless, brainwashed are extremely entitled and might I add totalitarian in mindset.

Elon Musk Is GTT! Gone To Texas!

In the early 19th century, Texas was frontier and a land of great opportunity and promise. It was also a magnet for folks who wanted (or needed) to leave Europe or the United States behind and start fresh. As the exhibit I co-wrote and produced for the Alamo in 2017 attested, Jim Bowie himself was but one of many who moved into Texas for fortune, glory, and to escape things that may be best left behind.

When people left their homes and headed west to the Texas frontier, they’d often leave a simple carving in a prominent tree or another spot on their property that consisted of three letters: GTT.

Gone to Texas!

That's the big problem. Like pests rushing out of a house being fumigated---the neighbors don't want the pests, either.

Will there be anti-immigrant riots as past century, and suspicious animosity of newcomers from out of state like in vigilante stories? "We don't like your kind here." Opposite of our America but looks like our future.

Bad guys on Andy Griffith were nearly always from out of town.

“Austin is California in Texas...”

True. They recently defunded the police and invited homeless camping on public areas. Its definitely the place to go if you want to see a druggy pooping the sidewalk. Huston, San Antonio and Dallas aren’t much better

Texas,Arizona,Florida,.. all need to step up their game and change Residency Requirements, say You must be Physically Present in the State for 300 consecutive days for 5 years in a row to establish Voting Rights.

I don’t think losing our most productive African in history is a very helpful idea.

I went to CA about 5 years ago for the first time. SD/La Jolla section. Never had a more bizarre experience interacting with people than there.

And I’ve been to many foreign countries. CA is definitely different.

There is a special kind of aristocracy that has been bred here.

You have instant overnight billionaires who feeeel like they are the ones that will change the world for the better.

Ironically, most of them are imports to the state and were raised as liberals, too dumb to think on their own.

They practice the same old dogma as the Nazis, they behave like the Gestapo, they censor who they will and lie. Oh man, can they lie.

I call Musk extremely entitled. Soweto would be a good new residence for the grifter.
