Matthew McConaughey recently had some very refreshing thoughts about politics in America.
McConaughey sat down for an awesome interview with Russell Brand following the release of “Greenlights,” and it sounds like he’s not a fan of the elitist attitude found within his own industry.
“There are a lot on that illiberal left that absolutely condescend, patronize and are arrogant towards the other 50%,” McConaughey explained. He added that people in Hollywood “were in denial” about President Donald Trump winning the 2016 election.

Isn’t he rumored to want to run for office in Louisiana, or somewhere in the south? Sounds like he is getting in the politican mode.
Saw that a few days ago. Someone else had skewered the Left
just prior to him giving his comments. It’s still interesting
that he voiced these thoughts.
I’ve never fully appreciated him, although I have enjoyed
some of his work.
He keeps this up, and I may have to re-evaluate.
I have a new respect for him.
The problem with actors is that you never know when they are acting or ummm.. playing it straight. Now that the woke stuff is going broke, this is the next phase of getting public buy in.
He’ll dupe enough people to get into public office. Or get the “machine” behind him.

Not quite, he’s equating behavior on the right with behavior on the left and he doesn’t seem to have a problem with the evidence of voter fraud.

Only those three? Oh well, all are symptions of not being that bright. Comes from majoring in the marshmallow, not very demanding, and most certainly not right side of the Bell curve subjects whilst in university.
Thankfully, our creative subjects usually eliminate left-leaning lawyers, politicians, and especially, journalism types.

Matthew McConaughey is actually a serious deep thinker person, quite unlike the characters he plays. I was watching one of his interviews on youtube. Or at least that’s how he came across.
