You and I have both been around here a long time.... the amount of “fake news” on the front page here on FR is getting ridiculous.
Gateway Pundit is a loose news aggregator from right leaning outlets, but they are ruining FR.
I went back and watched the Ingraham and Tucker episodes that provoked countless threads based on the characterizations of the Hoft’s with lots of venom here on FR.
To be clear, I am not a Fox viewer any more, but Tucker was his typical snarky self, but most of us would agree with the majority of his monologue. He questions everything and good for him - he wanted evidence. Yes, it was snarky, but most of his monologue was spot on.
Same for the Ingraham monologue that the Hoft’s used to spew their clickbait. Laura was inarticulate, but it appeared to me that she was taken completely out of context regarding AOC. Her point appeared to be that AOC and her ilk are against the billionaire oligarch class just like Trump supporters are. It was not stated clearly, but it was IN NO WAY what the Hoft’s made it out to be and so many here on FR reflexively parroted.
Strange times. Your Gators look pretty good this year. My Vols? Not so much.
So if they wipe out the student loans of the ones that got the past loans, what about the ones that are about to get new loans for their schooling.?
I am.
We are always undefeated in August! :)
Anyone who robs Peter to pay Paul can count on Paul’s support ... as long as the checks keep coming in!
It’s a weird year, there’s a big difference in playing UT in Neyland with a couple of thousand people in the stands, as opposed to 100K+.
This year has sucked. Period.
Neyland definitely looks a lot different this year as does Ben Hill Griffin.
Weird year.
I must say, it’s nice to have a QB again.
MOST Taxpayers (and MOST VOTERS) are Trump supporters. Making them pay off student loans is purely a punishment for them. That’s all the reason the rats need.
I. DON’T. CARE.
As long as it comes out of the hide of the universities.
The universities hand out student loans like candy because they have no responsibility once the loan is made. They get the money and the loan gets repaid to somebody else.
This makes potential students nothing more than pockets to be picked for the universities.
Once the universities have skin in the game they will stop making loans for degrees in gender studies and other nonsense.
Or go out of business, which is fine with me.
Let ‘em pay from their endowments.
More op-ed pieces that will accomplish nothing. Back to normal for the deskbound “conservatives”.
I can their keyboards clicking away as they are herded into the boxcars.
Yeah, that kid is a baller. That TE is ridiculously good.
UT has some building blocks, but we are hurting at QB and our play-calling is the system and not based our personnel.
(a) repaid their college loan,
(b) worked through college, and
(c) served honorably in the US Military, and used the GI Bill for financial assistance in college.
Yup, that's me for all three of the above (although my total indebtedness after grad school was only about $200.)
On the other hand, I’m all for confiscating assets from universities to pay off the loans. Start with the Ivy League endowments.
That’s what I said in my very first comment.
So I let my kids borrow money from me to pay their tuition. (The schools did not offer in house financing).
So this means the Fed is going to pay me directly for the monies I loaned to them to pay their tuition?
Is there a form of something I need to fill out for reimbursement?
Does this mean the fix is already in on the Georgia Senate races?
