Makes me wonder why a state would try to keep sick people from getting treatment in the first place.
Always appreciate good news. Thanks.
Great news for parents who want to protect their children from this evil and insidious “trans” movement. The provision of puberty blocking hormones or surgery to minors constitutes child abuse.
Right. There’s NOTHING wrong with VOLUNTARY conversion therapy.
Have to allow 3 year old to have transgender therapy and support their right to be gay. But if they want to try to be straight that’s evil and a harm?
BS.
Attended a Federalist Society event in DC last fall. A woman in the audience asked about enforcing such a ban. She seemed a militant. A circuit court judge on the panel asked her what right the government has to bar an individual from freely choosing a therapy. Zing.
I think conversion therapy is a joke (an unpopular opinion around these parts, I admit), but it’s not my views that matter here. If someone wants to go through this, they have that right. No one was forced into anything and no one else is being harmed, so the first amendment argument is a pretty strong one.
That is fantastic news! The wicked are losing!!!
Perversion is not free speech.
If it were up to the Left....
bidirectional change not allowed— ironic
So for the nation’s Maoists it’s on to the next higher court.Next should be the so called ‘buffer zones” around abortion mills.Of course no threatening acts or words should be allowed there...just as they’re not allowed elsewhere. But if someone wants to quietly display a photo of an aborted child that should *absolutely* be allowed...just as photos of warfare are allowed at “peace” rallies.
2-1 decision, with the Odiousbama "judge" being left out in the cold.

Bevvy Martin: "I would affirm the District Court’s denial of the Therapists’ motion for a preliminary injunction."
And who is little Bevvy agreeing with?
Another POS Clownbammy "judge" legislating from the bench:

I don’t think this was at a state of Florida level.
I think it was a county or city. Maybe Key West of Miami.
“Their women exchanged the normal practices of sexual intercourse for something which is abnormal and unnatural.
Similarly the men, turning from natural intercourse with women, were swept into lustful passions for one another. Men with men performed these shameful horrors, receiving, of course, in their own personalities the consequences of sexual perversity.”
(New Testament, Romans 1:26,27)
Gov. Chris Christie signed a similar bill onto law here in New Jersey. One’s heart sinks to see that. But you are right, this ruling gives hope.
Many of the liberal states have passed laws like this. They all need to be struck down.
