Kind of a bizarre thing...given the reason why they are considering moving...to get away from the policies they helped put into place with their votes.

Abbott is going to screw around and let the Dems get control of Texas. How long will it be until we have a state income tax. Wyoming is looking better and better.

Maybe. They’re moving for a reason. The reason is the place is a socialist sh!tstorm.

Depends.

Montana has a state income tax. Wyoming does not.

the data centers are in NJ. No one sitting at a desk in New York will notice a difference.

Abbott and Perry are destroying Texas.

In a fairness, alot of governors are thinking solely of the money, and not of the shift in demographics that it brings. My wife and I tell all the remaining family that there is a reason we left PA. And it wasn't because PA is such a great place and we couldn't handle the awesomeness.

Sure there things we missed such as a particular restaurant, but that's about it. Otherwise, it's because we more aligned with the values in the area we moved to.

Didn’t NJ pass a tax on truck sales 15+ yrs ago? And drove big rig sales across the border into Pa? Then had to rescind it?

Let them come if they replace 80% of their staff with Texans.

They'll most likely be indians(dot, not feather). Just what we need. /s

But yeah unfortunately they bring their politics with em.

Not just politics, but culture.

Exhibit A. Mayonnaise and baked beans

Before the first wave of northen locust voters (ca. 1975- 1980), mayonnaise wasn't used in a lot of Texas cuisine. Now it's the default for BBQ potato salads and hamburgers. The handful of indigenous hamburger joints remaining here use mustard instead of mayonnaise. Practically every carpet-bagging BBQ joint that calls itself "Texas BBQ" uses mayonnaise or miracle whip (instead of mustard) in its potato salad. They also use Boston-style sweet baked beans instead of Texas-style pinto beans.
Mayo and baked beans are gross.

Exhibit B: Gun racks

Prior to the the late seventies - the "Urban Cowboy" era, gun racks were ubiquitous in the rear windows of pickup trucks. Every pickup truck had them. Now they're extinct in Texas. They weren't outlawed; it's a cultural shift I blame on thieving illegals and squeamish locust voters.

Exhibit C: Buck knives

When I was in high school, A Buck 110 knife in a leather sheath was a common accessory. If a student showed up with one now, the school would go into lockdown and a SWAT team summoned. Thanks, you GDMFSOB lowdown sleazebag carpetbagging Yankee locusts.

Good research!

Keller’s on NW hwy served the standard cheeseburger with mustard, you had to ask for mayo.
