From an operational / DR perspective, Dallas is better than Houston (flooding) but worse than Austin (tornado).

Dallas got hit with tornado outbreak last October. They still haven't cleaned up. Suburbs to the east of Dallas were hit with a EF4 tornado the day after Christmas in 2015.

Not that this is going to come as a shock, but Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio has been BLUE for quite some time now. But luckily the people in power down in Austin are put there by the rest of the state.

When they register their cars in Texas they should be made to swear allegiance to the values of the great Republic of Texas. :>)

“Texas GOP party has been pushing for out-of-state businesses to move to Texas the past decade.”

Who in actual F would do that and why? Greedy bastards.

Wow. What a blow to NYC this would be if it happens!

No It's a blow to Jersey, the servers are on our side of the river in case of another 911 attack.

Better extend your residency requirement for voting to about 15 years.

Texas being so financially friendly to business is unfortunately helping the Dems in their quest to turn Texas blue.

It’s a “progressive” disease; like cancer. The only way to stop it is to destroy it ... completely so it doesn’t come back.

Oklahoma has a State income tax. I’m all for moving to Montana and figuring out how to survive a winter.

Let the go to Austin, Houston, and Dallas. I’m not fond of those cities. They are already blue

If the Gov’t can have servers in Utah, then why can we just move the NYSE to west Texas? Plenty of room and very few tornados.

It’s the burbs that will now turn blue, just like the Atlanta Burbs did.

And they’ll bring their H-1B’s with them, too. Now doubt that spigot will open fully should the steal go through.

Would love to see NYC eat it but that move would ruin Texas forever.

Maybe a few Dems move to Dallas, but it doesn’t take many to run a server farm and TX has plenty of local talent. It’s not like Wall Street is moving from NYC to DFW.

It says they were meeting with the governor so I assume that is why they would be in the capital.
