The CJ has no such power. He has only one vote. He can and has been in the minority opinion. He also doesn't decide what appeals can be heard. Do some research and learn something.
Given that I really can see the point in expending so much energy to pull the junior GOP senator from GA over the finish. The Dems will get their wish list sooner or later if we do not stop the steal. It’s that simple.
It's *both* the senior and junior Senate seats and they mean the difference of whether or not Schumer gets to bring up votes to stack the courts or add DC as a state. Then it really wouldn't matter.
Recall the Alabama race with Obamacare repeal in the balance. McConnell and the GOP ran for years on Obamacare repeal. Was there urgency from McConnell & GOPe to hold the critical Sessions seat? Obviously, not. Why?
What in the world are you talking about? That race had no effect on Obamacare repeal - at the time of the vote, we had the seat. McCain, Collins, and Murkowski blocked that one. It had already failed. The Alabama race would not increase our seats to change that outcome. And certainly Roy Moore didn't take it urgently by going out of town on a trip to a ball game the weekend before the election.
Like I said, stop making stuff up.
