Seeking to head off a second wave, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Friday he plans to increase law enforcement patrols at New York airports.
Cuomo made the remarks as state health officials revealed three counties in western New York — Monroe, Onondaga and Buffalo’s Erie County — are facing sharp upticks in COVID-19 cases and new lockdown measures may come as soon as Monday.
Cuomo said he and Mayor Bill de Blasio have struck a deal to use NYPD cops and the National Guard to boost checkpoints at airports, which officials are using to try to prevent the virus from returning to New York from other parts of the country.

Cuomo is off the rails totalitarian. The positivity rate of NY testing has been below 2% since summer, the death rate in deep decline to double digits weekly, prob most sick people over 85 ( we are not being kept honestly informed). Remember when it was 15 days, then another 30 days to flatten the curve?
And what has happened since we accepted that?
Ever deepening subjugation of healthy people who are treated as lepers if they become even asymptomatic or mildly ill under state ( not science) mandates ... and look where it is happening.

Yes, I know all about the World Economic Forum’s plan for “The Great Reset.” Last week’s Time Magazine issue is dedicated to “The Great Reset.” Covid 19 lockdowns crash economies, so lots of folks with no livelihoods, consequent acceptance of universal basic income by desperate people, massive taxes on everyone else who has anything. Then bit by bit they lose their property, too. One of the World Economic Forum predictions for 2030 is “no one will own private property - and people will be happy!”
