“Nancy E. Brasel, a Trump-appointed judge, said that two Republican electors [Electoral College] had no standing to file suit, so they appealed it to the Eighth Circuit.

It must be noted that Brasel is most likely a DFL stooge, considering that Dayton appointed her to the Minnesota State District Court for the Fourth Judicial District before she became a federal judge.

Before that gig, she spent three years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota [appointed under the Halfrican].

Confirmed by voice vote in the Senate, she was probably a nod to the two blue senators from Minnersoda.”

FReepers need to be mindful that, at the DISTRICT COURT LEVEL, just because a judge is a “Trump appointee” doesn’t mean that they are a “good” judge. Judges such as this are a gift of THE BLUE SLIP process that still lives at the District Court level.
