GOOD. Let’s hope the Repubs do as they’re supposed to and not have a “last-minute” epiphany like Justice Roberts did when he changed his mind at the last minute on Obamacare.

Someone asked Rush yesterday is there was any way the Dems could stop the process at this point and he said “no” - but couldn’t remember the exact protocol. Let’s hope it’s so, they’re going to pull out all the stops to make sure Coney isn’t instated.

“Barrett’s nomination now heads to the Senate floor, with a vote scheduled for next week, where she is expected to be confirmed by a narrow majority.”

It’s called a party line vote. And I think it is going to be bigger than that. Any rat senator running for reelection in a red state is going to vote yes. She is going to be approved anyway, why risk the loss of the seat?

Whow,
My medical care had been screwed by Obamacare. I liked my healthcare plan, could not keep it. Got other, less benefits, more costly. Plus I have been paying more in taxes for it.
I am really glad that somebody benefited!

I watched the vote and am proud of the Senators who did their duty. Not so the dummycrats.

I believe that the Senate will have a Saturday session to tee up the vote. Then on Monday (?) they begin 30 hours (max) of speeches followed by a vote.

ACB should be on her way to the SCOUS by the middle of next week. YEA!

where she is expected to be confirmed by a narrow majority................... Providing the lure of $$$$$$$ doesn’t enter the picture via $$$$ for votes (Surely there are some greedy Republicans out there.) Sorry, I feel the power of greed controls our legislature more than honest judgement. Unfortunately once approved, Barret will be looked down upon by a couple of her colleague judges, we have to expect that. Guaranteed excitement to follow for sure.

I can’t remember the last Republican-appointed Supreme Court justice that the Democrats didn’t throw a tantrum over...

...I also can’t remember the last time Republicans threw a tantrum over a Democrat-appointed justice.

I would throw it back in their face by stating that Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed UNANIMOUSLY by the committee, as there were no ‘No’ votes.

So much for their temper tantrum stunt.

They can't vote yes, the process is suppose to be illegitimate.
