As July 4 and its barbecues arrived this year, the activist and former N.F.L. quarterback Colin Kaepernick declared, We reject your celebration of white supremacy.
The movie star Mark Ruffalo said in February that Hollywood had been swimming for a century in a homogeneous culture of white supremacy.
The director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of New York Citys most prestigious museums, acknowledged this summer that his institution was grounded in white supremacy, while four blocks uptown, the curatorial staff of the Guggenheim decried a work culture suffused in it.
The Los Angeles Times editorial board issued an apology two weeks ago describing itself as deeply rooted in white supremacy for at least its first 80 years. In England, the British National Librarys Decolonising Working Group cautioned employees that a belief in color blindness or the view that mankind is one human family are examples of covert white supremacy.
In a time of plague and protest, two words white supremacy have poured into the rhetorical bloodstream with force and power. With President Trumps overt use of racist rhetoric, a spate of police killings of Black people, and the rise of far-right extremist groups, many see the phrase as a more accurate way to describe todays racial realities, with older descriptions like bigotry or prejudice considered too tame for such a raw moment.
News aggregators show a vast increase in the use of the term white supremacy (or white supremacist) compared with 10 years ago. The New York Times itself used the term fewer than 75 times in 2010, but nearly 700 times since the first of this year alone. Type the term into Twitters search engine and it pops up six, eight or 10 times each minute.

White Supremacy is now a term that means anybody who is doing well. That’s all it means.
Guilty as charged
The Rats need to be put on trial for war crimes against sanity.
It means anything they want it to mean. F em.
I bought a cord of firewood again this year from an industrious Mennonite farmer. We’ve got to keep our White Supremacist pact going.
Donald Trump is actually a Trump Supremacist - they just cant tell the difference. :)
Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Not just one species any longer.
Not white supremacy but a reflection on the achievements of Western Civilization. We will share, and do. And should be proud of our accomplishments.
No, it still means David Duke and the Klan. I remember a lot of people being tarred with the term “white nationalist” too, and that was a term coined by Duke and the Stormfront crowd to describe their movement. I read their stuff and I know what I am talking about. It means their goal is a nation of white people only. It has nothing to do with an America that happens to be an extension of European culture, law and religion, which has a majority of people who are of European heritage, but which also has a sizable population of non-Europeans from all over the world who wanted to come to this supposedly horrible place and make it their home.
Guess what, NY Times and the rest of the Left? You don’t get to define the language to suit you.
wyppl are supposed to sit down shut up go to the back of the bus and not apply for jobs or promotions. < /naked Leftists truth >
Anti-Communism has been redefined to White Supremacy.
OK I have a simple question.
Considering the fact that whites have contributed 90% to the world of science, technology, philosophy, literature, social advancements, economic well being, explorations, law and justice, governance, arts, etc, why exactly is it wrong for whites to feel a sense of pride and even a small sense of superiority??
We have to stop getting guilted over our successes. Every other group can shout out their pride in their group, and they have much less to be proud about, but whites are labeled all sorts of names for doing the same thing about their group. Sadly it is a faction of self-loathing whites (leftists and their useful idiots) that lead the anti-white charge. They are our enemy number 1 and if whites are to survive they need to be relegated to the ash can of history... and quickly.
There are white footprints on the moon. Everyone else can eat it!
How anyone could take such inanity seriously is a complete mystery.
I heard two British guys on a history podcast talking about Anglo-Saxons and one of them said ‘be careful about using Anglo-Saxon as it is associated with White Supremacy’.
You mean the David Duke, that loves him some Ilhan Omar?
