Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden repeated his controversial contention Thursday that police should try to shoot dangerous suspects in the leg as a form of de-escalation.
"You have to teach people how to de-escalate circumstances. De-escalate," Biden said during an ABC News town hall. "So, instead of anybody coming at you and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in the leg."

whenever someone is shooting to kill you, you shoot to kill, not cripple. A leg wound will not prevent the perp from shooting.

I still vividly recall that scene in thar Mel GIbson movie LETHAL WEAPON where they walked in to the drug dealer's home and in the shootout between the gang the other cop insisted that he prefers to shoot them in the legs.
However the wounded criminal was still able to reach for his gun and Mel Gibson had to act quickly to dispatch him.
I really hope that this politically correct move wont cost any lives by its sheer stupidity.

Well she kept moving her legs! Couldnt tell if i was hitting her or not, or if she finally dropped her gun. She never screamed she gave up, she was just yelling.
