Great data from @realDonaldTrump ’s rally in Des Moines shows support the pollsters are missing:
- 10,139 voters identified
- 48.5% (!) NOT Republican
- 29.4% (!) Democrat
- 25.0% did not vote in 2016
- 13.7% did not vote in the last 4 elections

Johnstown is historically a heavily, heavily Democrat area.Very true, when Jack Murtha brought brought home the pig. McCain lost Cambria County by a couple points in '08'. Mitt won in with 57% of the vote in '12, and Trump won with 67.3% of the vote. The magic negro changed Johnstown from deep blue to deep red.

For all the reasons you state Trump drawing such a huge crowd to Johnstown was quite significant.
I was in neighboring Somerset County over the weekend and Trump signs were everywhere. Nary a Biden one in sight.
