Governor Mike DeWine (R-OH) said he hoped President Donald Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis served as a “cautionary tale” for people who have been reluctant to wear masks to combat coronavirus on Sunday’s broadcast of CNN’s “State of the Union.”
DeWine said, “I said this at a press conference I did the other day, this should be kind of an alert to everybody that anybody can get the virus, even president of the United States can get the virus. So we ought to use this and simply just, you know, learn from it and so people who maybe have not worn masks in the past, you know, I’m hoping that they will look at this and say the president can get it, I can get it, and it can happen to anybody. I hope that is what happens, and that is what comes out of this. We pray for the president, and we pray for the first lady and everybody else who has the virus.

It a cautionary tale of who dies from this illness. All the recent famous people are not dying. Melanie did not even have symptoms. Trump age 74, overworked, little sleep, recovered quite nicely. If he was under 65, likely would have zero chance of dying (since no secondary health issues).

I don’t have television in my home. I get my news from actual news sources and PULL all my information. I was concerned with flattening the curve in the beginning. We did that. It’s now just something the lemmings care about, not me.
The REAL monster right now is not the virus. It is the lockdowns and the mask mandates. That really IS going to leave a mark. For many, it already has.
Someone get DeWine on the record about his WuFlu antibody status.
Boy, is it ever a lesson learned! Get the virus, take an easily obtainable medication, and recover in two days, while never losing a step. Message received loud and clear, Mr. President!
He will never get over getting booed at Trump’s rally.
Masks are about as useful as window screens are as a shield against a garden hose spray. (But it is difficult to smoke a cigar when wearing one.)

Some people who wear masks do catch it and no one can quantify any difference. Just like the made up 6 feet of distance, which has no scientific basis.

And DeWine should know, or his minions should tell him, that masks don’t protect the wearer, they protect others if the wearer has the virus.
Clearly, someone who they thought did not have the virus actually had it, and interacted with enough people that it spread.
Let’s all wear masks forever and nobody will ever catch a virus again..... The cure to the common cold and all flu strains..... I would expect sales of all cold and flu medications to plummet, as well as antibiotics and doctor visits
Listen dimbulb, if masks worked there would be NO new cases in all the locked down imprisoned States. Masks do not mean you will not get sick.

I for on will not wear a mask, as I feel they don’t protect you fully. Most masks people are wearing are useless they don’t trap the actual virus and a question I would like to know is of all the people who contracted this so called killer as if this is the only virus which kills. How many wore masks and still caught it? If I walk around with my mouth closed not talking just going about my business staying away from crowds and such how am I spreading anything if I had nothing to begin with.
