Report On Rising Far-Left Extremism Raises Concerns Of Possible ‘Mass-Casualty Event’

A new academic paper studying the rise of violent, far-left extremist networks warns of the possibility of “attacks on vital infrastructure” and even a potential “mass-casualty event.”

The Network Contagion Research Institute’s report warns that militant anarcho-socialist networks are instigating violence in ways that parallel Islamist terrorists and white supremacist groups.

The NCRI’s alerts have proved prescient in the past: the institute released a report warning of spikes in anti-Semitic extremism shortly before the October 2018 Tree of Life Synagogue mass shooting that left 11 people dead.

The new report, which was released on Sept. 14 has received little media attention but sounds alarms about an “online structure supporting anarcho-socialist extremism” that “appears to be rapidly growing” and supporting real-world violence....

Thanks:) Funny- laaate last night as I dug my way through rabbit holes I read a piece about a lefty who went underground in Portland (or maybe Seattle) to prove the violence and riots are done by white supremacists. Imagine the surprise upon finding all leftist anarchists. The larger point was how well ORGANIZED and FUNDED they are and how well they communicate. Poor writer was shocked, lol.

At this point it’s very tough to keep a rational view of what is happening in America. I had to slap myself earlier- I was considering the possibility the covid breakout at ACB reception was done purposely. Ridiculous, right?

That's a really good point. Do we know specifically which chapters of BLM / Antifa started which fires?

These leftist (and some "far right") groups featured in the report are much more organized than I ever realized.

Notably absent in the report is ANTIFA. I wonder why...

One thing I meant to include at the top of this thread is that ANTIFA is not mentioned much, if at all, in the report (link in post #2).
