Why are so many people so hideously stupid? The old way of voting worked for over two centuries. Don't fix it unless it is broke. Now it is broke.
Has anyone collected these stories in one spot? I think that the shear volume of the stories would be instructive. If not, I may be persuaded to start such a data base.
In that county in blue MD they are just doing it for the money probably. If they come to my door they will be photographed but not likely in that county.
Voter Fraud doesn’t exist! /sarc
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
What a great idea. Everyone except myself probably have smart phones but if I did and had someone knock at my door, that’s what I would do. Or they may be approaching only seniors who probably don’t have them (like me) and feel safe.
It’s exactly what needs to happen tho’...see how fast they leave the property WITHOUT ballots!
I never open the door for ANYONE I don’t know or am not expecting for delivery or repairs etc., but I would ask them to give me their name and wait “right there” while I call the Board of Elections..
Sounds like Ballot Harvesting IMHO
Ping!
Already done.
*knock knock*
“Who’s there”
“Ballot harvester”
“Ballot what???”
“I’m here to conveniently take your ballot to the BOE for you.”
“Oh, OK.”
At which point the woman opens the door, and a large land shark promptly devours her.
Oops! Sorry!
