In an interview with Fox News Friday morning, Dr. Scott Atlas, a member of the White House Wuhan coronavirus task force, reassured Americans there is no reason to panic over President Trump's contraction of the disease.
Dr. Scott Atlas, a special adviser on coronavirus to President Trump, said Friday he expects the president and first lady to make a complete, full and rapid recovery after the two tested positive for COVID-19, adding, there is zero reason to panic.
During an exclusive interview with Fox News, Atlas said the novel coronavirus is an infection that is very difficult to avoid.
It is no surprise that people get the infection, even with precautions, Atlas said. I anticipate a complete and full and rapid recovery back to normal after his necessary confinement period. I anticipate hell be back on the road and in full swing.
Atlas called the president a super vigorous man, adding that he has never seen anyone with more energy and more vigor, at any age, but particularly at his age.
He is a very, very healthy guy, Atlas said. And the overwhelming majority of people, even at his age, do fine with this. He is very healthy, and so I anticipate the same for him.
When asked about the first lady, Atlas also maintained that she is not a high-risk person at all and I anticipate she will do perfectly well.
Meanwhile, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows gave an update on President Trump's condition and status to the press Friday morning.
"They remain in good spirits, the president does have mild symptoms," Meadows said. "His first question to me this morning is how is the economy doing how are the stimulus talks."

Thank you for the love you are sending our way. I have mild symptoms but overall feeling good. I am looking forward to a speedy recovery. Melania Trump (@FLOTUS) October 2, 2020
President Trump continues to work from quarantine.
Nothing keeps @realDonaldTrump down. He is resting & recovering under his doctors orders, but continues to be focused on the welfare of the American people. Alyssa Farah (@Alyssafarah) October 2, 2020
For the hundredth time?
RE: For the hundredth time?
Yes, for the worriers out there. Data Needs to be REPEATED until it sinks in.
Praying for President Trump, when he can I would like to see him address the nation as he is the leader of the world fighting a war against a deadly virus.
He should state we are at the latter stages of this ongoing battle with the virus. We will soon release a vaccine and bring a end to this world menace.
I ask every American to join me in this battle my administration is presently fighting. And together we will make America Healthy again.
The mortality rates are shown by age, but should be further adjusted for comorbidities, Diabetes and dementia greatly increase the risks among the elderly, as well as other underlying issues.
Chart from UK showing that 95% of the deaths regardless of age had an underlying health factor. Trump is overweight but does not have other known risk factors, the highest risks being diabetes and dementia

Does that table account for those who had other health issues? Cause as far as I know, Trump is in good health which means he is going to be just fine most likely.
America never became “unhealthy”. The numbers have been cooked. The lock-downs have caused the majority of excess deaths this year. People were not able and/or were afraid to get treatment for the real killer diseases like heart disease, cancer, stroke, and other serious problems that cause that majority of deaths every year.
I ran in circles screaming for nothing?
This is from the UK statistics
Note that diabetes and dementia were present in about 40% of deaths
Obesity is not cited but may have been comorbid with some of the diabetics

Word to the wise, if you are overweight...lose weight ( any age)
If you are diabetic get it under control and demand early aggressive treatment if exposed. Dont just let them send you home until you cant breathe.
I heard Chris Wallace this morning tearing Atlas a new ahole because Atlas said not to panic and everything would probably be fine. Wallace actually said Atlas doesn’t know anything because he is not an epidemilogist or infectious disease doctor. It is Wallace who is extremely uninformed.
Chris Wallace: "Don't listen to them! We want our panic!"
Chris is flailing, hopefully to regain his LOST credibility. Nope, his legacy is cemented, worst excuse for a moderator ever, total biased schmuck who ruined a debate single handedly.
“There is No Reason to Panic”
Unless you are a hardcore Democrat.
The susceptibility to serious effects is genetic based on exposure to similar viruses over centuries and how recently those groups migrated from Asia. Asians are least susceptible with recent generations culled. They are followed by Turks and Slavs who left central Asia 1000 years ago, Germans and Huns 1500-2000 years ago, Romance and Celts 2500-5000 years ago, and most susceptible Amerindians 12000 years ago and Africans never there.
Africa itself seems to have been spared so far due to the prevalence of malaria and consequent ubiquity of hydroxychloroquine use. But the African diaspora has been particularly hard hit.
Trump, as a Celt, is at higher than average risk.
Trump is German.
Trump and everyone that surrounds him will be just fine. They will receive the best medical care. It was caught early...that’s the best scenario.
