Today was all CYA campaign season theater. Graham wanted a few sound bites to feed the GOP base. That is all.
Lindsay Graham is holding this hearing only for re-election hype back home. Electioneering that costs his campaign nothing. Nothing whatsoever will come of this.
I have noticed that when Graham questions a thug like Comey, a way of escape is embedded in the question.

It is inexcusable to me. Infuriating. They wait months for this guy to show up, Three or four tranches of new evidence come out, all of them seriously incriminating, and they don’t have the intelligence to consult with a real litigation attorney to write out 10 steel trap questions they could ask Comey that would nail him down. They could spend a couple of grand for 2 hours of a real attorneys time, or take Ted Cruz to lunch and buy him three tacos and get it done. Instead, they pretend to be litigators and completely blow a golden opportunity. It is stupid and arrogant.
Barr has let us down.

In my mind the FBI is little better than organized crime, just batter paid...with my money.
Honest law abiding people should ‘think twice’ before ever answering any question from the FBI crime family, they have proven they will frame innocent people in order to further whatever goal they may have.
