President Trump dismissed a published report on Sunday asserting that he paid only $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017, calling it a total fake.
It will all be revealed, its going to come out, Mr. Trump said of his tax records at a White House press conference. I paid a lot [of federal taxes], and I paid a lot of state income taxes, too.
He didnt say how much he has paid in federal income tax in those years, saying that he is still under audit by the IRS.

Did they mention that he donates his whole salary to charity?
The timing is right on cue. Remember what Harry Reid said about Romney’s taxes during that campaign?
Even if he didn’t pay any taxes, his companies employ thousands of people, who do pay taxes.
Better that companies pay no taxes and use that money to employ people, where the taxes are likely to have multiplies many times over. Take the money directly from the employers, and there will be a lot less people employed.
Not that I believe Trump paid no income taxes directly, but, redistributing that corporate taxes via employment of people is far better for the overall economy, and keeps big government in check.

Well, he paid 38 million dollars in taxes for 2005
The New York Times, saying it has obtained 20 years worth of tax return data for Mr. Trump and his companies, said he hasnt paid any income taxes in 10 of the previous 15 years. The report said he hasnt paid income taxes mainly because he reported losing much more money than he made.
If thats the case, Trump is a certifiable genius in the Einstien range. He needs to write a book on this, “Trump; The art on how to screw the government legally!”
I would have found it almost impossible for anyone to have the exact same $750 tax liability in two consecutive years.
Interestingly, the only way to refute Trump’s charge of “fake news” is to out their source, the one that committed a felony.
The old Romney never paid any taxes fraud.
What this article doesn’t mention and is a boring headline is Trump pays hundreds of millions in payroll (FICA) for his 22,000 employees in his company, property taxes on his vast real estate holdings, New York City and State income taxes, as well as California, Virginia and other jurisdictions he owns property and receives income.
Businesses routinely carry forward losses and depreciation, especially in real estate. This isn’t anything scandalous. It is the nature of the business. He would be a fool to pay the IRS one penny more than the law requires.
The kicker of the story is even after the NY Times received 20 years of his taxes and analyzed them with a fine tooth comb they could not come up with a single crime or law broken. That’s really incredible when you think about it. Trump is cleaner than 99% of businessman. Imagine any other businessman having this level of scrutiny and coming away with nothing.
Doesnt Trump donate his WH salary ? Thats a 400K writeoff right there ...
The only people who give a hoot what tax’s Trump paid or not are those wanting to destroy his Presidency.
Yeah, he said Romney paid no taxes. Then after the election it was found Reid lied, and when confronted if he had any regrets about lying, he said, We won ...
Early October surprise.
If his accountants were able to legal reduce his tax bill to $750, he should give ‘em a big raise and comp ‘em a weekend in one of his hotels.
Starve the Leviathan !
Al Capone is trending on twitter...the dems are all excited, comparing Trump to Capone and how he went to prison over his taxes...except one guy posted that “i just read the entire NYT piece and this is more like Geraldo opening up Capones vault”...now they are all depressed....AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
