Palin hints at Senate run in Alaska if Lisa Murkowski opposes Trump's Supreme Court nominee
Washington Examiner ^ | | September 26, 2020 | Andrew Mark Miller

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin hinted at a possible run for Lisa Murkowski's Senate seat if the senator doesn’t support President Trump’s replacement for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court.

"We sure hope that you have it within you to do the right thing this time,” Palin said to Murkowski in a series of Instagram videos posted this week. “So, you should walk back. We'll forgive you. If you can't do that, remember my house? I can see a lot of things from my house. ... Lisa, I can see 2022 from my house."

"Lisa Murkowski, this is my house," Palin said, pointing to her Alaska residence in the background. "I'm willing to give it up for the greater good of this country ... if you can't find it within yourself to do the right thing this time and at least give a fair shake to the Supreme Court nominee that your president will be bringing before you.”

Good time for her to run for the Senate now. She’s divorced. All of her children are grown up except for her special needs child. She could enroll him in an excellent school in D.C. area if she gets elected. So I say “go for it”. Bristol is almost 30 now so it does not matter what she does with her life so it shouldn’t have any impact on Sarah. I have no influence on my relatives, even within my immediate family.

I guess she went back.

She’s now on my political radar like Phil Gramm is. Meaning she’s like “ oh yeah I’ve heard of her.”.

Some of her gushing defense of McCain well after the run was uncalled for, but joining the ticket as his running mate is nothing she needs to apologize for.

Sarah is not a wealthy woman, the scum bag rats filed nearly 40 frivolous ethics complaints against her. She had to defend using her own money since it was illegal not to. So just like the rats did to Gen Flynn they bankrupted her and she quit.

What would you do when up against well funded Lawfare?

Bristol is doing great, btw.

She has a successful business and a beautiful, new home, for her sweet fam.

It was fun kicking Tom Daschle out. I could support this removal too.

Yup. She was quite the force at the time but she missed her window of opportunity.

We need fresh voices, not reruns.

As a non-Alaskan, I don’t have much of an idea of who’s stronger relative to whom. And Palin family’s soap-opera lifestyle isn’t really my cup of tea, but Murky needs to be primaried. Anybody but Murky. We don’t need GOP senators who play to the Dems and the liberal media when push comes to shove. If Sarah Barracuda has the best chance to take down Murky, well then I’d absolutely support her candidacy... I’d even send a few bucks to her campaign.

“I think her brand is a bit dated by this point.”

NEVER!

While she was governor; she still would have had to defend herself but she quit. So did those false accusations go away when she quit?

Hate? Just because I called her a quitter? Where’s the hate in that? You on the other hand aren’t really worth the reply but you’d be upset if I ignored you.

“Don’t misunderstand, she’d be better than Murkowski, but she should have tried this in 2010.”

Oh, I didn’t realize that we can go BACK in time! /s

Woulda, shouda, coulda!

What does that matter NOW? Live in the “present”. Hope for the future. Don’t dwell on the past, it’s a waste of time.

Man, you guys are awfully generous in passing up help. The GOP is hardly overflowing with stalwart leadership. Trump has ZERO friends, and could use some.

This is talking about replacing MooCow in the US Senate with Palin. I’d give her the chance (not that I have any say, in Idaho) just because she would HAVE to be better.

She appeared to have a sharp mind, and her own, once. Trump could use friends like that.

“SOMEONE needs to come up against Murkowski. I don’t think Palin is the one though. The GOP needs to actively recruit an opponent.”

What’s the most IMPORTANT thing in Real Estate?

Location, location, location.

What’s the most IMPORTANT thing in politics?

Name recognition, name recognition, name recognition.

Who in Alaska has more “name recognition” than Sarah Palin?

Well, if you don’t want to sound like just a hater, you need to rethink your postings. Take care.

She was primaried I think time before last and lost the primary. She then pulled some shenanigans in the courts to win as an independent. So, no guarantee the same thing wouldn’t happen. But I’d love to see her knocked out.

Yes, they did. All of them dealt with ethic issues which if found guilty would have forced her from office. Alaska did not allow for donated funds and such that she could have used to mount a defense so she was left with the choice of being forced into bankruptcy or resign.

I did not add all those !!!!!!!

So, I guess personal opinions are out here as well without receiving hate posts in return. I wonder if there's a country in the world where opinions aren't met with hateful incoherent responses but with intelligent opposite ideas and views.
