It’s not vandalism, it’s art. And any attempt to stop tagging, or to remove it once it appears is racist. /s
How many years has the Park Service been kissing the left’s behind? Like most of the swamp, their Washington Based, Satchel Butts got rich off the save the environment scam while no money went to the parks themselves and lots of money went to pulp trees to fill textbooks with liberal lies that demonized management of our resources. The little libtards have no respect for themselves let alone our nations treasures. It should not be a surprise.
50 lashes bareback. Singapore does it the right way.
I believe it takes a real faith in God to realize the true beauty and transcendence of nature. If people have lost their relationship to deity then they become their own deity and presume to have the right to leave their mark on anything.
How much of it is in English?
You beat me to it.
“Death to Taggers!”
Amen to that. Such graffiti tags are showing up all along I-90 in Spokane, WA. Until a couple years ago, all the freeways and bridges were completely free of the scourge. Now it is popping up on sound walls, retaining walls, overpasses, railroad bridges.
A tag showed up on the dumpster at our local lake in North Idaho. I called the garbage company and talked to some guy. He said “It’s just kids.” He was unbelievably naive about this and wouldn’t believe it would be gang related.
I left California partly because of this crap. It starts with a few tags and pretty soon the bums have taken over all your city parks and they are full of needles. I saw this in small towns on the San Francisco Peninsula where the towns just ceded the city parks to the bums.
What a shame it is hitting the National Parks. They were our last refuge.
It’s always written in Martian.
No. Too quick.
Apply the law: 6 months in jail and a $5K fine. Arrest them on the spot and chopper them out. Immediate prosecution under expedited procedures. Let them serve the six months cleaning the rocks.
Ah, living and working 24/7/180 in Zion National Park in winter’s cold or summer’s heat. Let the fines partially offset the cost of the incarceration (in tents and barbed wire stockades to contain costs, of course).
Yep, 6 months in the can, pay fines, lose job, miss school, and get a record. The frosting on the cake would be the rogues gallery of offenders serving time posted at the park entrance, visitor center, picnic grounds, and the trailheads.
Detestable, destructive writing on the walls in the wilderness of Zion, more signage of the times.
Abomination of desolation in a literal sense, desolation even going back to the meaning of a wilderness, a desolate place/condition. Same idea/root in the Greek or Hebrew, now even in Latin letters.
With enough time, it’ll become a UNESCO World Heritage Site in order to preserve the “petroglyphs”. :-/
I recently saw some graffiti in my mostly graffiti-free community that said Art is not a crime. There was nothing artistic about it.
Aren’t petroglyphs just graffiti from a long time ago?
Implement a hefty reward and a 20 year prison term, that may help slow the graffiti punks. And of course, enforce it.
Your neck of the woods for now.
Democrat party vandals.
The author, not you.
