That's one problem. But what happens if it bonks somebody on the head and causes an injury, especially an eye injury? 😲💥🤕

“But what happens if it bonks somebody on the head and causes an injury, especially an eye injury”

It has obstacle avoidance.

But main use is when no one is home.

It features obstacle avoidance technology to allow it to avoid objects in its path. My guess is that maybe it flies above head height once it gets airborne as well?

Either way, not buying one. Can’t avoid smart phones and smart tvs nowadays, but I can certainly avoid bringing another device in!

Can you control it? This seems like fun. I could chase the cats around the house from work.... when I get back to working at work.

Remember when it was reported that Roomba vacuum robots were sending maps of people's homes back to their corporate servers?

All pets will hate it. Cats will leap in the air and try to grab it. Dogs will bark like crazy. Parrots will be in danger.

And who knows who will hack it? Smart crooks might figure it out, sit at screens deciding which house is worth breaking into.

I just got a Shark self-vacuuming thingy, like the Roomba. . Does a super job but the cat hates it. I shut it into one room at a time. Amazing how much dust and stuff collects under the bed in just two days.

You don’t suppose it’s spying on me, do you? Hmmmm.

I don't know. I'm not sure how good is that obstacle avoidance technology. Somebody is going to get bonked on the head with one of those indoor drones with a head or eye injury, unfortunately. 😲💥🤕🙄
