I do not see the slightest reason to do anything but to bulldoze the nomination and confirmation through. We are dealing with brazen partisans who will do anything to get their way. We either have a constitution, or we have a party - wide tantrum.
After what the Dems did with the Mueller fake investigation, the impeachment and the Kavanaugh hearings, I would support moving ACB to an immediate full vote in the Senate. But for political purposes, let her chat with Senators, have 2 days of Committee Hearings, and then a vote by mid October.
Does the Senate have an ethics committee? Schumer went to the Supreme Court steps and addressed a leftist rally. He overtly threatened Justice Kavanaugh if Kavanaugh voted the wrong way according to Schumer. Is this public behavior appropriate for a US Senator? Schumer needs to be severely disciplined.
Thank goodness McConnell has a sense of humor to keep him sane throughout all of this partisan crap.
“Uniquely non-credible” is probably the nicest way of describing Schumer and his tactics that I have seen. Really is an interesting thing to watch Schumer, the defender of globalist bankers and all around unapologetic oppressor of average people, go that extra mile to try to get our country sold off at a fire sale.
