A reward of almost $700,000 is now being offered for information leading to the capture and subsequent conviction of the gunman who shot two Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies at close range last week.
"The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors had initially authorized a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction," ABC News reported.
However, as of Thursday, the reward had grown to around $675,000 due to generous contributions, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

$700 k? Snitches would rat out their whole family tree for that much. Very curious that there hasn’t been an arrest of the shooter. Looks like a unique body shape and walking gait. Wonder if they aren’t native to Compton.
Was wondering if any of that $700,000 was from King James.
If the shooter has the right DA, he’s probably debating turning himself in as the dollar amount rises.
I watched it several times, looks to me like a kid or really short adult.
Make it a million bucks: dead only.

The fact the get away car was a Mercedes does make a possible statement that he's being well hidden...could be out of the country....or even dead and buried.

I would retract the offer immediately-—or at least put some stipulations on it, for example, that the benificiary of all that money have a spotless criminal record. OR that the money go to his favorite (non Progressive) charity.
Once he’s captured (dead or alive), the people who are currently protecting him should be charged to the fullest extent and given severe prison time. Go after them all, even if it’s his mother. Send a resounding message that this will NOT be tolerated.

The gait is so noticeable, that he [or she] I think, should be well known in the area. And, he had just disembarked from a city bus IIRC. I think people are afraid to come forward and ID this person!
I fully agree. But I realize, if you live in communities like that, if you turn someone in ....you are dead meat.

From the looks of the shooter’s height (about same height as roof of car) looks like he could be a juvenile & nobody will ever know his identity??

First I’ve seen re: camera angle
This would seem to indicate they’re running out of leads or information to locate or ID the suspect. On the other hand the big reward could help loosen up someones lips.
I’d bet the suspect is ID’d with a week or so. But considering the reward has been out there about a week, I’m a bit surprised there is still no ID on the suspect.
Yeah, a dwarf? Shouldn’t be hard to find.
