The fact the get away car was a Mercedes does make a possible statement that he's being well hidden...could be out of the country....or even dead and buried.
Video camera is arched which makes the shooter look shorter than he actually is. Basically it distorts a true body frame and his running gait.

I have 8 year old id. twin grand daughters, I have photos of them (not close ups) where one appears to be considerably taller than the other (4”-6”) in reality, they are both the same height. I also have a video of them running, they look the same in the video running and they don’t run the way that killer did.
I have also seen a real life midget running, he ran exactly like the killer did.
