Also the public education system has done such a p*ss poor job that most of our population is utterly clueless about the realities in any country outside our own.

The fact is US began as a racist country with practice of slavery of the negro race. There were no white slaves. It is historical fact and kudos to the republican president Lincoln to lead a civil war to end slavery.
