Was just telling hubby, this morning, what’s happening in NY (and CA) reminds me of the movie Inglorious B3sturds, or ANY movie/story taking place during Nazi era Germany.....paying the ‘fee’ to remain in business.
They all (for the most part) sat there - either in compliance, or fear - and watched it take place, while it was happening, too.
The similarities, to me, are just shocking.
This, to me, is worse than Mafia era kneecapping. We knew that the Feds were at least trying (in several places) to put a stop to the business beatdown/shakedowns.
Maybe I’m reading it all wrong.

I think these two states are keeping the economy down NY and CA. are huge when it comes to the economy of the country, I think these two IDIOT governors are betting on a Biden win to bail their states out they figure what have they got to lose!! They don’t give a damn about their citizens OR their states it really is quite amazing!! The horrible thing is that Trump is going to win and these two ASSHATS are left with two states that will be empty shells, I am praying that the illegals start going back to Mexico in droves!! They have DESTROYED the tourism industry in both states HUGE parts of both economies!!!

This is a perfect example of why the electoral college is absolutely brilliant and essential. It should be written into every State’s Constitution. It’s ridiculous that so many weirdo strongholds get to inflict their insanity on the rest of their States. NYC and Albany are not the entire State of NY, but they are the only places that matter in NY when it comes to voting...and where the priorities are for the State Government.
