Trump daring Dems to defend ‘critical race theory’ and 1619 project as he moves to suspend indoctrination in schools and govt. agencies

Democrats have made implicit promises to the radicals whose active support they need that they will back aggressive compulsory brainwashing sessions demonizing Caucasians and the American founding as fundamentally and inherently racist. A memorandum from OMB director Russell  Vought 3 days ago began the pushback and laid a trap for them:

The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions. Accordingly, to that end, the Office of Management and Budget will shortly issue more detailed guidance on implementing the President's directive. In the meantime, all agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on "critical race theory/ "white privilege," or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil. In addition, all agencies should begin to identify all available avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts and/or to divert Federal dollars away from these un American propaganda training sessions.

These trainings are deeply unpopular.  See, for instance, this tweet: (Hat tip: Taylor Day)

Yesterday, President Trump upped the ante by taking on California’s adoption of the inaccurate 1619 Project curriculum designed to instill hatred and resentment of the country on the phony contention that the funding was instituted to defend slavery,

Should have put a photo warning in the title... :)

Seriously - anyone so disrespectful of her audience as to show up looking like that for a seminar should be walked out on.

Trump’s ending the BLM indoctrination program in federal agencies is absolutely huge because its an exercise in executive power to reign in these politicized agencies. In other words, it sets the precedent for future actions to do what is necessary to Drain the Swamp.

These agencies are powerful and difficult to control. Trump is now showing them he’s more powerful. I can’t wait to see him to downsize these arrogant bureaucracies and move them out of DC.

That picture is proof positive of the assertion that is the title of one of Scott Adams’ Dilbert books: Casual Day Has Gone Too Far.

As has intersectionality and racial identity politics

"Paypal me". LOL!

This is awesome. Most Americans had no idea this crap was even going on. Democrats wanted it this way. This is the kind of crap they sneak in under the radar when nobody is paying attention.

Thank You President Trump!

Been through a LOT of such BS “training” while in the military and as a DOD civil servant - once got some folks torqued during a “don’t offend anyone over anything” briefing - i said it seemed like they were telling us that normally adjusted folks with life-coping skills were being told to walk on eggshells so as to not offend the emotionally crippled social misfits...fortunately I was a Senior NCO and so close to retirement that it would have taken an act of - Congress to punish me in any substantial way - so their red faces were somehow pleasing to behold...

The metro fire department is currently in a round of “diversity” training at a local school conference facility. I’m told the presenters are being paid $50k for the one month series. The parking lot looks like a 5-alarm fire is being fought because of all the apparatus lined up in a row. I hope there are a few senior firefighters with secure retirement packages who will keep it interesting for the others.

What has happened to Casey Petersen at Sandia National Lab who iwas instrumental to bringing this issue to the fore?

Last I heard he was on “paid administrative leave” while management was looking for an excuse to fire him.

DJT needs to both protect his job and aim a big fat raise toward him for having the courage to speak up on this issue. Maybe some kind of Presidential award.

Media claiming the President is trying to censor history. How can he be censoring history, when the project creator admitted it was not factual.
