He’s quite nice overall and has come around handily
I think Cruz thought 2016 was his to lose nomination wise and he got upstaged by a loud but full octane civilian
I was Cruz from jump street after he hit national stage in 2012-2013 even had bumper stickers made one of which is still on one of my company trucks my guys drive ...black Silverado
But hearing Trump talk as he warmed up in the months before the golden escalator I knew this guy was saying out loud what we all think
And Ted just got run over and it was personal
Worst Ted moment was when he blamed Trump for Dem thugs at Chicago rally
That turned many here including the founder that nite into the Trump camp

Yes, things got nasty, but Ted was eventually able put it behind him and continue fighting for what was, and is, best for this country.
2016 RNC speech was the nail in his political coffin
He still had a 2020/2024 chance
And he blew it
I never saw a politician commit political suicide like that on live TV

Same here.. I was for Cruz until Day 1 of hearing Donald Trump telling it like it is..
Every day I think I can’t love Trump more.. then I do.

I was a Cruz guy for quite a wile but I think his worst moment was when he was giving a speech to a good size gathering at an airport somewhere with Trump force one landing in the background. Trumps teem timed it perfectly.
I knew right then that Ted was toast you just can't beet those optics. I still like him and want him to run again in 2024. I just don't think Pence has the killer instinct to be a great president. I think Ted does and has learned a great deal from Trump.
